ADAM DYER, CPCU

President, Dyer Group

 

Adam is the President and an owner of Dyer Group, which operates three independent insurance agencies located in Bridgeport, Morgantown, and Buckhannon currently.

 

He is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and independent insurance agent that began his career with Dyer Group after graduating from WVU in 2006 with honors majoring in Marketing. He served as the youngest ever President of the Independent Insurance Agents of WV in 2017 and 2018 and is the current Immediate Past President of the organization. Adam has served on multiple insurance carrier advisory boards, and is heavily involved in industry trade associations including his current work in organizing and promoting young insurance professional events throughout the state, as well as working with the WVU School of Business & Economics to cultivate an insurance and risk management program within the college. He also currently serves on the board of directors of the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce.

 

Adam is also dedicated to several charitable causes in his local community. He is a former President of the Harrison County YMCA and currently serves on the board of directors of the Medbrook Children’s Charity, an organization of business leaders devoted to helping underprivileged youth in the community.

 

In 2018, Adam was honored as one of the WV State Journal’s Generation Next 40 under 40 executives in the state of WV. Adam is working hard to create and implement a strategic vision to ensure Dyer Group’s continued success and growth for many years to come. He brings energy and passion to this endeavor every day. He is also an owner of Trailhead Investments, a real estate development group whose current main project is a residential development named The Vale in Bridgeport.

 

This is all possible because of the love and support of his wife of 11 years, Rhea, and his three beautiful children Iley (5), Lorenn (2), and Witt (1). Adam’s hobbies include golf and outdoor recreation. He spends free days exploring the mountains and rivers of WV with his family or enjoying a round of golf with friends.

 

Adam believes passionately in the insurance industry’s value to our country’s economy and to his local community and is proud to serve in leadership roles within the industry. His core values include maintaining a spirit of gratitude and joy daily while endeavoring to treat everyone he encounters as he wants to be treated. He is proud to be a West Virginian and is striving to do his part to make WV the best place to live in the world.

JOSH ZONTEK

Chief Operating Officer, Dyer Group

 

Josh is a partner and the COO at the Dyer Group, which operates three independent insurance agencies located in Bridgeport, Morgantown, and Buckhannon currently.

 

Josh attended West Virginia University and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies (B. MdS.) with minors in
communications, business administration, and advertising. He also holds a graduate certificate from WVU, where he completed the Integrated Marketing Communications graduate program in 2012.

Before joining Dyer Group, Josh worked as a territory manager for Arthrex Inc., a global medical device company that focuses on product development and medical education for orthopedic surgeons. In 2014, Josh and his team were awarded the territory of the year for the Mid-Atlantic Region.

 

Josh also worked as the VP of business development with the Denver based company Hillstone Environmental Partners
ShaleApps. He oversaw the formation of business partnerships while leading the companies planning and execution of strategies to increase sales and company growth.

 

Josh is also a managing member of JULU, LLC., a real estate investment group he founded with his longtime friends.


Josh currently serves on the Medbrook Children’s Charity golf committee, which hosts the Children’s Charity Golf Classic every July in Bridgeport, WV.

 

He also founded the Joseph R. Zontek Scholarship Foundation, which awards scholarships to high school seniors in Harrison County. He believes strongly in giving back to his community and volunteering to help local organizations anytime the need arises.
 

Josh and his wife Angie live in Bridgeport, West Virginia, and have a one-year-old daughter, Lane, and two English bulldogs, Sophie and Ellie. In his free time, Josh enjoys golf, skiing, and traveling.
